Edenvale branch continues with maintenance project in Eastleigh

On 3 October, AfriForum’s Edenvale branch continued its maintenance work in Eastleigh as part of the branch’s ongoing involvement in the improvement and maintenance of public spaces within the community.

The maintenance work focused on two small traffic islands at the intersection of Terrace and Andries Pretorius Streets in Eastleigh.

“We believe that a neat and well-maintained environment has a direct impact on the community’s pride and livability. Where we, as a community, can make a difference ourselves, we are prepared to lend a hand and take responsibility for the areas around us,” says Peter Kaminski, who oversees the environmental portfolio at AfriForum’s Edenvale branch.

This project forms part of the Edenvale branch’s ongoing efforts to keep public areas in the community neat and well-maintained. By personally lending a hand wherever possible, the branch aims to make a practical contribution toward improving the local environment.

AfriForum’s Edenvale branch will continue to focus on, among other things, maintenance and community projects that contribute to a safer, cleaner, and more livable environment.
