The AfriForum branch in Edenvale has already used 50 litres of paint to repaint the curbs and traffic islands in this East Rand city and is currently awaiting their latest order for more paint. The branch is going full steam ahead with this project, which officially kicked off in August, although renovations to traffic islands have already begun in July. The aim of the project is to liven up curbs and traffic islands that have been neglected. Since then, the branch has taken to the streets of the city centre on several occasions to give it a new look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More recently, curbs on the corner of Terrace- and Andries Pretorius Road and on the corner of Van Riebeeck Avenue and Hendrik Potgieter Street have been repainted. Curbs at the intersection of Van Riebeeck Avenue and Horwood Street have been painted up to the intersection of Van Riebeeck Avenue and Fourth Street. The intersections in this section of the road have also been cleaned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the AfriForum branch painted curbs, they also repaired potholes \u2013 big and small \u2013 in Edendale Road and Paul Drive in Eden Glen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
