AfriForum\u2019s Greater Moot neighbourhood team spent 156 man-hours on the bush cutters and 132 man-hours with chainsaws to get the Moot clean and tidy in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The neighbourhood team also carried out renovations to their information network where two poles were painted. They are also erecting a new pole. Furthermore, all AfriForum\u2019s emergency water points in the area were visited \u2013 the water was circulated to ensure that the water and the tanks remain clean. The neighbourhood team put out a fire at the corner of Ben Swart Street and 21st Avenue in Villeria and started trimming the spruit\u2019s trees with a focus on trees that damage the infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During June, AfriForum\u2019s Greater Moot neighbourhood watch did not sit still either and drove 1,331,91 km and 151,47 hours during 108 patrols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
