The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has today informed the Glencoe Magistrates Court that it will not continue with the prosecution of Dundee farmer, Garth Simpson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Simpson was charged with murder after an incident in which he was attacked by a group of men on his farm. One of the men tried to take Simpson\u2019s firearm from him when a shot went off. The attacker, unfortunately, succumbed to his wounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re glad that Mr Simpson will now be able to put this tragic incident behind him.
