The Department of International Relations and Cooperation\u2019s (Dirco) leave to appeal against a court interdict obtained by AfriForum against the planned R50 million donation to Cuba, was dismissed by the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This follows after the High Court in Pretoria already dismissed an application for leave to appeal earlier this year. Everything now indicates that AfriForum\u2019s review application to overturn the decision to make the donation will now proceed. AfriForum is optimistic that this review application will finally put an end to this bizarre and irrational donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
