Approximately 40 people took part in the effort and a substantial amount of trash was removed from the stream.<\/p>\n<p>John Dory\u2019s at Edenvale\u2019s Greenstone Mall treated the volunteers with cold drinks and sushi. Everyone who was involved in the clean-up action also received gift vouchers they could use at the restaurant the following Monday.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe are very thankful for the cooperation between all the role players and for the donations we received. The initiative was a huge success and AfriForum\u2019s Edenvale branch plans to organise similar projects in the future,\u201d says Linda McKenzie, vice chairperson of AfriForum\u2019s Edenvale
