AfriForum\u2019s safety structures were activated immediately, and the suspects were caught in the act of loading a steel gate onto a bakkie. The SAPS was then called in, after which the suspects were arrested and taken to the Phalaborwa police station for further questioning.<\/p>\n<p>Another two suspects were apprehended by the Phalaborwa neighbourhood watch on Monday afternoon 17 June 2019 after members of the community informed them of a burglary at a vacant property. AfriForum\u2019s safety structures were activated immediately and two suspects were apprehended with a stolen geyser in their possession. The SAPS were called to the scene and the suspects were arrested. The owner of the property was also informed of the burglary. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis is an excellent example of how the community and the SAPS can take hands to curb crime in the area together.
