The AfriForum branch in Nylstroom repaired a clogged drainage ditch. The clogging caused stormwater to dam up in Nelson Mandela Street, the entrance road to the town just after the train bridge.<\/p>\n

Chris Boshoff, AfriForum\u2019s Regional Coordinator for Limpopo, says this problem presented a big safety risk to motorists, and subsequently necessitated AfriForum to intervene. In addition, there were also potholes in this road that could not be seen under the water.<\/p>\n
\u201cThanks to the assistance of community members, the problem was solved speedily.
