Europe’s politicians are now also aware of the violation of human rights, farm murders, the Expropriation Act and the increase in discriminatory racial policies that particularly target South Africa’s minorities after AfriForum made a submission to members of the European Parliament yesterday. This submission as well as this week’s engagement with representatives of the House of Representatives of the Dutch Parliament in The Hague, and the Flemish Parliament in Brussels form part of AfriForum’s The world must know campaign.

Ernst van Zyl, Head of Public Relations at AfriForum, and Jaco Kleynhans, Head of International Liaison at Solidarity, met with representatives of political parties and presented AfriForum’s “The world must know” report as well as the Malema Dossier. The reports expose, among other things, critical facts regarding farm murders, the threat to private property rights, attacks on Afrikaans and the heritage of the Afrikaner minority.

According to Van Zyl, Afrikaners, AfriForum and the Solidarity Movement have substantial support in Europe. He describes the number of allies that Afrikaners have on the European continent as encouraging.

During AfriForum’s submission to the parliament.

“Afrikaners have acquired a very positive international reputation in the past few years, and foreign role players are becoming increasingly aware of the ANC-led government’s abuses of power and human rights violations thanks to campaigns such as those of AfriForum,” Van Zyl concludes.
